TO BE IN ORDER NOT TOBE

The project To Be and Not to Be, To Be in Order Not to Be takes its inspiration from a series of photographs of specimens from the collections of the Museum of Zoology at the University of Bologna.
It gives rise to a reflection on the divisive nature of our civilization, which, through its analytical approach—grounded in a method of acquiring knowledge that proceeds by identifying and studying individual details through the dissection of an organic whole—confuses life and death.
The project comprises works conceived for different media, including photographs, prints, mixed-media works on paper, photomontages, digital photo manipulations, and written notes.
