ESSERE E NON ESSERE – MIXED MEDIA & PRINT

The project Essere e non essere, essere per non essere takes its starting point from a series of photographs of specimens from the collections of the Zoology Museum of the University of Bologna.
It develops into a reflection on the divisive nature of our civilization, which, through its analytical approach and its method of understanding based on identifying and studying individual details by breaking down an organic whole, ends up confusing life and death.
The project consists of works conceived for different media, including photographs, prints, mixed-media works on paper, photomontages, digital image manipulations, and written notes.
